User creation re-enabled for now + new social media accts
Ok, so I (for now) re-enabled user creation because I paid for the Akismet spam protection. Let’s see how it goes. Also, I’m gonna start posting my art training here (most of it will be fugly), just for dopamine. Also x 2, I got a SimpleX channel. Still alive. + User management
I don’t know if anyone is reading this, but I’m still alive. I’ve had to remove the ability for people to register an account and delete all users because my inbox was being overwhelmed with dozens of spam account new user registrations a day. If you are a legit user who got caught up in this, I apologize. Maybe in the future I’ll put up a forum or something, but for now, registering an account doesn’t really do anything anyway. Day
This is the type of day I would normally waste, and I still might. I’m feeling blue & pouty. I need attention. So far this need has expressed itself as a bait post in a discord server, but the day is still young. It’s a strange feeling being lonely and isolated but not wanting to interact w/ most ppl I know, while the people I do want to interact with are not very interacty at the moment. Just Leave a Message
Anyone calling anyone else should know by now that unless the person you’re calling is a boomer, they’re not gonna pick up the phone if they don’t know your number. 🙄 So either leave a message or text them if you want any chance of actually talking to the person. That said, it’s a good idea to make it clear in your voicemail greeting that you don’t pick up unknown numbers, because boomers may not know this new rule and will keep calling you. Drama vs Melodrama
Warning: might contain mild spoilers for the beginning of The Signal Netflix series. So I’ve been watching Netflix’s The Signal mini series and it’s been irritating the fuck out of me. You might be buying a stolen car… >_>
A guy I know got stopped by the police yesterday and arrested because he was driving a car that was reported stolen. He bought it off of the Facebook Marketplace. Apparently, the person he bought it from forged the title. And the DMV didn’t catch it when he went to register it. I did some searching and wasn’t able to find a place where you can get the owner information for free by the VIN.
